UNIFORM DRESS POLICY   (Diocese # 400)

The John Paul II Catholic School uniform policy is easy to follow. This policy has been established to promote an academic environment that is conducive to teaching and learning. It is also based on our belief that students should be taught to present an image that reflects a sense of pride in themselves, their families, and their school. Enforcement of the uniform policy is the joint responsibility of students, parents and/or guardians, teachers, and the principal. All students and parents are to abide by this policy in an effort to emphasize standards of neatness, uniformity, and pride in our school. All parents must cooperate and enforce this policy; deviations from the specified clothing items will not be tolerated. All students are expected to be in full uniform each day with the exception of a limited number of pre-scheduled “out of uniform” days.

CATHOLIC IDENTITY shirts can be worn on Friday with uniform pants/shorts/skirts. Students may wear any JPII Catholic Identity t-shirt OR school uniform shirt each Friday.  Catholic Identity shirts are provided to each student at the beginning of the school year by PTO. Catholic Identity shirts from previous years can continue to be worn.

Special out of uniform days will be announced through the school year as appropriate.
