Teachers have begun sending Edlio Updates to all emails.  Each week, teachers will post their newsletters and any important information to their Edlio webpages.  All those with an email on file with the school have been subscribed to their child(ren)'s teachers and unsubscribed from last year's teachers.  You will only get an email on the days the teachers POST, not daily.  If you need to access the information at any time, you can find it on the JPII Website under staff, and then by clicking the teacher's name you would like to view.  You can also subscribe to any other teacher through this route as well.  

 

 

1.   It was reported on 8/18 that there was a leak in a pipe in the maintenance closet downstairs.  Elite Plumbing was called to handle the leak. The leak is at a valve. *Update: Quote total: $1,916.  Money will be drawn from the Guardian Angel Account to make this repair.  

 

2.  On 8/19, the school phone lines and wireless internet went down.  Spectrum and BCS (phones) were notified of the issue.  BCS will charge us for a service call, but was unable to determine the cause due to the lack of internet.  Spectrum arrived today at 8:00, along with Robbie Greenwell, to diagnose the issue.  The cause appears to be a switch on the server that has gone out.  Spectrum will not charge us for the repair.  We were able to obtain some wireless access points and a main phone line.  **Update:  All phones have been restored and internet access is back online.  

 

3.  One door in the stairwell has been broken for some time.  We have worked on it three times to try and repair it to no avail.  Architectural Sales, the original installers, came last week and determined that a new push bar is needed, as well as inner mechanisms.  The quote for this is $3,085 with parts taking 4-5 weeks to come in.
